Diffrence between boiling and evaporation
Answers
Evaporation is just the change of liquid state to gaseous state. It can occur at any temp. Eg. Like if water falls from a glass after some time it evaporates even at room temperature.
Boiling occurs at the boiling point only and it is the process when the vapour pressure of a liquid becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure. At the boiling point , liquid and the gas are in equilibrium. Eg. Water boils at 100°C and thus it is the boiling point of water.
