diffrence between distance and displacement .tell me with example

hii dear in my earlier ans tell three examples .. which tell different between. . displacement and distance. ..so go there and check. . but IAM telling only .one ..

take .a circular . path and walk . around . it. and go ..one to another . point .. u will get .. that .

when u moves along the parameter. then the distance covered by u is 2πr and displacement is 0 ..

now u gets that the minimum distance between ..initial point to end point is called . displacement

Distance is the total path that a object travels

And displacement is the shortest distance from final to initial point.

Suppose a body travels from a to b and then from b it return to a.... Consider the distance between a and b to S. So the total distance traveled is 2S but displacement means shortest distance means final minus initial so tge displacement is 0
