It is given that cube root of smaller number is 3 , hence   3√x=3  Cubing on both sides  x=27  The second/smaller  number is 27  Coming to the first equation which tells that difference of the numbers is 189  So  Y-27=189 Y=189+27 Y=216  The larger/first number is 216  Cube root of 216=6 Answer is 6
