Infectious diseases are those which spread from one person to another. The pathogen uses vectors, air, water, direct contact and other such medium to travel from one host another. These are mainly bacterial diseases. Eg: Common cold, Typhoid etc

Non infectious diseases are those which don't spread fron one person to another. These are mainly genetical or body abnormalities. Eg: Cancer, Diabetes
