action of carbohydrate starts from mouth and ends in small intestine

MOUTH: the salivary amylase enzyme converts starch and glucose into maltose , isomaltose and limit dextrins

STOMACH: In stomach there is no digestion of carbohydrate as amylase is absent in the stomach

SMALL INTESTINE: the food receives 2 juice ands in small intestine pancreatic juice and intestinal juice

pancreatic juice: it contains carbohydrase named pancreatic amylase which converts starch and glycogen into maltose isomaltose limit dextrins

intestinal juice: it contains 6 carbohydrases - amylase, maltase, isomaltase, limit dextrinase, sucrase and lactase into glucose

The entire carbohydrate part of indigested food is changed into glucose, fructose and galactose.

these products are absorbable.
