Answer:
digestion in mouth starts with the enzymes being secreted by our salivary glands. for eg salivary amylase converts carbohydrates into maltose. when the food enters our stomach gastric juices acts on it. hcl makes the surrounding acidic so that pepsinogen can be converted into its active form pepsin. pepsin converts protein into amino acids. gastric lipase acts on fat. when food enters our small intestine rest of the proteins are converts into amino acids, starch converted into simple sugars such as glucose and fructose, fats are converted into fatty acids and glycerols. so ultimately the food gets digested in our small intestine.
hope it will help u!!
