Explanation:

Digital Bangladesh

Digital Bangladesh means digitalizing Bangladesh by ensuring an ICT based society where information will be available in online. Here all the possible tasks of government or semi-government will be performed using digital technology. The motto of digital Bangladesh is to establish technology based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, e-education etc. The benefits of digital Bangladesh are many. If we can establish a digital Bangladesh, corruption will be reduced radically. It will make people think globally and connect them with the whole world economically, socially, politically, academically and even culturally. It will improve our banking and financial activities. Agriculture, health, education, commerce – all these sections will be highly benefited by making Bangladesh a digital one. It is mention-able that almost all services including education, health- nutrition, agriculture, birth-registration, allowances, social protection programs are now easily and comfortably delivered to the doorsteps of intended beneficiaries through union information centers at union level, e-service centres in DC offices, e-centres in 147 upazilas and village post offices and 254 agricultural information centres. To develop the sector and create more job sectors in the field, our government is providing ICT training to the youth freely, to create new horizon in youth employment through outsourcing. According to a study conducted by Oxford University, Bangladesh is now home to around 16.8% of all outsourced online workers in the world, a rate that is second only to India, at 24.6%.

The word Ethnic comes from Ethnicity is derived from the Greek word ethnos which refers to "nation". Now a day the term refers to people who possess common ancestry and a distinctive culture. So, in short, ethnic people refer to the people of same nationality but of different cast, culture, tradition and religion.

There are about thirteen ethnic groups in our country and most of them live in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). The Chakma, the Marma, the Chak, the Mro, the Mrong, the Santal, and the Tripura are the well known ethnic groups in Bangladesh. They mainly live in the hill though many of them have recently settled in the plains. Beside CHT, there are some other ethnic people scattered in different region of Bangladesh such as Sylhet, Moulavi Bazar, Patuakhali and a few live in Jessore. The ethnic people of Bangladesh are mainly follower of Buddhism but there are some Christian, Hindus and even Muslims.
