Dilute HCl reacts with sodium liberating hydrogen but the same is
not liberated when the acid react with lead.​

Answer:

As Sodium is more reactive than Lead.

Dilute HCl reacts with sodium liberating hydrogen.

In case of Lead it does not as it leads into an insoluble coating of PbCl2 thereby coming the reaction into an end.

Pb + 2HCl ------> PbCl2 + H2

(insoluble)
