on adding sulphuric acid a white ppt is seen while on adding dil.HCl no reaction occurs thus no ppt is seen......Hence it can be distinguised
H2SO4 + BaCl2=2HCl + BaSO4(white ppt.)
H2SO4 + BaCl2=2HCl + BaSO4(white ppt.)
