Answer:

1320 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given the length and breadth of the painting 60 cm and 38 cm respectively.

Area of rectangular painting :

L * B

= 38 * 60

= 2280 cm²

To find the length and breadth of the painting including the frame we'll add the 6cm width to them.

• Length of the Painting + Width of the Frame = Length of the painting including frame.

= 60 + 6 + 6

( you can get it by the attachment )

= 72 cm

• Breadth of the Painting + Width of the Frame = Breadth of the painting including frame.

= 38 + (6)2

= 50 cm

Area of the rectangular painting including the frame:

L * B

= 72 * 50

= 3600 cm²

Area of Painting including frame - Area of Painting only = Area of frame

= 3600 cm² - 2280 cm²

= 1320 cm²

By using area of rectangle = l × b

= 60 × 38

= 2280

answer = 2280 sq.cm

28 + 6= 34 cm

area of rectangle = l × b

= 66× 34

area of frame including painting = 2508 sq.cm

=2508 - 2280

= 228 sq.cm

area which is between inner dimensions and outer dimensions = 228 sq.cm
