Answer:

2000 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total distance he travelled be x

A.T.Q

2/5 x = 1200 km

x = 1200 * 5/2

x = 3000 km

Travelled by car = 1/3 of 3000

                           =  1000 km

Remaining journey travelled by train

Now, distance travelled by train = (3000 - 1000) km

                                                      = 2000 km

Answer: 800 km

Step-by-step explanation:

total distance x : 2/5*x=1200

                          x= 1200*5/2

                          x=3000

distance traveled by car = 1/3*3000

                                          =1000 km

distance traveled by train is = 3000-1200-1000

                                                 = 800 km
