Two walls will have the dimensions 75m and 16m. Other two walls will have the dimensions, 60m and 16m.

Each wall is in the shape of a rectangle.

Hence, area of the four walls of the dining hall

= 2( 75 x 16) + 2( 60 × 16 )

= 2400 + 1920

= 4320m²

Subtracting the area of door and windows from the walls, we get

= 4320-5(4 x 3) - 4( 3 × 1.6)

= 4320-60 - 19.2

= 4240.8m²

Cost of papering the walls at Rs 12 per m²

= 12 x 4240.8

= Rs. 50889.6
