Rules to change a sentence from direct to indirect :

⭐ Convey the message given by the first person to the third person is termed as indirect speech.

⭐ The person who conveys is the second person to whom the first person told the compliment or a sentence.

✴ Indirect speech is a report on what someone else said or wrote without using that person's exact words.

Words of direct speech will turn to indirect in the following way :

⭐ Now - Then

⭐ Today - That day

⭐ Last night - previous night

⭐ Said - Told

⭐ Will be - would be

Here are few Examples :

She said to me, "Alas! Imran is no more. "

She exclaimed with sorrow that Imran was no more.

    2. Ravi said, "My father will come tomorrow."

Ravi said that his father will arive the next day.

    3. She says, “I am a little bit nervous.”

She says that she is a little bit nervous.
