Solution :-

(1)

→ Area of shaded region = Area of ∆ + Area of square = (1/2) * b * h + (side)² = (1/2) * 4 * 3 + (4)² = 6 + 16 = 22 cm² .

(2)

→ Area of shaded region = Area of ∆ - Area of circle = (1/2) * b * h - πr² = (1/2) * 8 * 6 - 3.14 * 2 * 2 = 24 - 12.56 = 11.44

(3)

→ Area of shaded region = Area of large rectangle - Area of small rectangle = 6 * 10 - 3 * 4 = 60 - 12 = 48 ft²
