Follicle Stimulating Hormone ( FSH ) :

• In males, it stimulates the sperm formation.

• In females, it stimulates growth of ovarian follicles and secretion of female sex hormone known as estrogen.

• Pituitary glands are small, red - grey ,pea - sized and oval shaped gland located in the head.

• It remains attached to the inferior surface of hypothalamus.
