So what can be done to develop humility and diligence in one self lets see -

1. We should always be ready to learn new things from other people. We must always be eager to learn new things. We must never think that we know it all because others will feel that they are dump. If we treat ourself as a learner then it would help us to develop humility.

2. We should always accept the fact that we don't know everything. We should always make ourselves aware that we are constantly improving. If we act like we are best in everything it may come off as arrogant. Henceforth we should present ourselves as if we are always wanting to know more.

3. As diligent person should be working continuously for their aims, we should plan our day before hand. Planning would help us to remain focused in our goals. Knowing our priorities, we can avoid wasting our time, energy on those that have no value at that moment.

4. Being diligent comes from our focus on the things which we want. We must learn to say no to all the unwanted things. Focusing on our priorities helps us to remain attached to our goals. Criticism is everywhere and ignoring them we should learn to move on with our work.

5. In all being humble and diligent is easy all we need to do is always make ourselves aware of our behavior towards others. However we should always pay attention whether we are hurting our self respect. In any way one shouldn't take oneself for granted.

The criticism from people must be ignored by us. Our main focus should be on our goals rather than on shutting their mouth.
