- What is the story all about ?
The Japanese fairy tale " The Wooden Bowl " by Takahiro Hasegawa is all about a good - hearted and gentle maiden . Though surrounded by many hardships the young maiden was brave enough to have faith in herself . Being all alone she didn't regretted it , she lived with very good heart and tried to be good with everyone . Overall the story is very interesting because even if many people laughed at maiden seeing her attire at head , she continued to remain optimistic . This is why, at the end of the story she received all the happiness and a perfect soulmate which completes her existence.

- How would you describe the attitude of the girl in the Wooden Bowl ?
The maiden here infact didn't bear any kind of attitude regarding her looks. Though she was such a charming girl she was never proud of her looks. Beside she was very much diligent for her work , for her masters and everyone around her. She was in fact a very soft - hearted girl for whom only her loyalty matters. No matter what is being told by others she always remained honest with herself. She was away from the material obsession and for her only the happiness of the people matters. She was overall a very kind - hearted girl.

- What are the lessons you learned upon reading the story ?
The lessons that i learned upon reading this story are :
❒ We must always follow the sayings of our parents. Yeah our parents are also human being and they might also take wrong decision, but remember their decision might not be correct but their intention will always be good for us .
❒ We should not judge a book by its cover. Here though everyone laughed at maiden considering the wooden bowl at her hair, but they failed to notice her beauty.
❒ Most importantly we shouldn't judge a person on their physical appearance. Because the beauty of a person doesn't depend on their physical appearance rather it depend on how good their heart is or how good their inner self is.
