Answer:* Biogas produced from Biogas plant has to be used at near by places. It can't be transported to longer distances

*It has very low calorific value of energy (ie 39850kj/kg) than petrol, diesel etc

*For the continuous supply of Biogas you need to have proper supply of bio wastes

*Needs high cost in maintaining the Biogas for its proper functioing as the left over residue have to be removed
