Disadvantages of Synthetic fibres:-
- Melt and burn easily
Synthetic fibres could easily catch fire more faster than natural fibres.
- Synthetic fibres shrink, which forms beads and they then stick to our skin again and again
People are mostly adviced to not to wear clothes of synthetic fibres, because these clothes catches fire while working near fire/flame.
- Non-biodegradable
They're non-biodegradable, so they are the main reason in causing soil pollution, as many people bury them in the soil.
- Uncomfortable during summers
They absorb very less moisture. So, in summers when we sweat, the sweat is trapped in the fabric only, which makes them uncomfortable.
