Manure adds nutrients to the soil without affecting its fertility. It does not damage the crops and produces healthy plants. Fertilizers are chemicals which lower the fertility of the soil if used regularly. They also damage the crops and make them unhealthy for consumption.

Answer:

Another of the cons of using manure fertilizer is that it can raise the acidity of soil over time while also depleting calcium, an essential mineral for plants. Manure needs to be tilled into be most effective. The very action bares soil and leaves it open to further leaching and topsoil loss.

hope it helps you
