Answer:

It is absolutely true discipline is a bridge between goal and accomplishment. Discipline is indispensable for living a successful life. Success and realization of dreams go hand in hand with discipline. There is no achievement that was accomplished without discipline. All great men of all times who great phenomenal success have been men and women of discipline. Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Walt Disney, Helen Keller, Booker T. Washington, Mahatma Gandhi, and the like all became disciplined first, successful later.

Being disciplined means knowing optimal time-management, self-control, knack of making best choices, being focused, zero procrastination, always making more attempts in the field you want to advance, upright moral character, and observing morals and ethics. A disciplined person does not have to be told to do the good things; he himself does them. Anyone who is not disciplined can’t hope to be an achiever at all!

Holidays are a great time given to us with the purpose of rejuvenating and refreshing us. Without proper planning and time management enjoying holidays is an impossible thing. I did the following things to enjoy my holidays optimally:

1. The first and foremost thing to be done was finish my holidays’ homework, projects, or assignments. If the work remained unfinished, it would have haunted me everywhere I went and I wouldn’t be able to enjoy anything.

2. The second most important thing was I traveled to some place of natural beauty. The best places are hill stations, mountain resorts, beaches or places of scenic beauty. Spending time in nature expands your consciousness and re-energizes you with life-force.

3. The third important activity I did was visit my relatives and catch up with them. Spending time with cousins and relatives was also quite wonderful for my emotional health.

4. The fourth important activity was I read some good books. Reading enhances our personality in many ways.

5. Fifth important activity was learnt yoga and meditation. Yoga let me know the esoteric secrets of the world and helped me stay ecstatic.

In conclusion it can be said holidays are not to be wasted in idle activities such as TV watching, sleeping, and just doing this or that. They should be made best use of.
