Railway station is a busy place. It is a complete world in itself. There is a rush of people every time. The coming and going of the trains continues twenty-four hours.

It is a place where passengers can get on and off trains and/or goods may be loaded or unloaded. Early stations were usually built to handle passengers and goods. Today, goods are usually only unloaded at big stations.

Trains enter the platform; people get ready to get into them. Those who have reached their destination get down. The trains move ahead with long whistles and rhythmic sound. The coolies are active to help the passengers.
