discus about freedom comes with great responsibility

Freedom Comes With Responsibility
It is a universal truth. Without responsibility
freedom of any type cannot be acquired. The history of mankind is a proof to
the fact. The ancient man was a slave of circumstances; however, as his understanding
and experience grew, he became more and more responsible. He realized he was
not around only for eating, drinking and carnal pleasures; he shouldered the
responsibilities of exploring the world; he began educating himself, and he
began studying life.
In the recent past common people had
to fight very hard to win this freedom from the oppression of selfish kings and
feudal despots. The French Revolution, The Russian Revolution, The Emancipation
Proclamation, The World Wars, The Indian Struggle for Independence, etc, are
some of the struggles that tell the tale how mankind achieved freedom in
different parts of the world.
We also know the great leaders who
spearheaded these struggles, how responsible and disciplined they were in
fighting these wars to win freedom. Responsibility is the first prerequisite
for freedom. Without responsible it cannot be achieved. Those who are breathing
free air might not imagine the kind of stress, struggle, and hard work our
freedom fighters must have done to rally people and resources to oust the
intruders from our motherland. This must have been possible only after being
highly responsible on their part.
The present generation appears to be suffering from apathy and indifference
to their responsibilities to the national goals . All they think of is
smart-phones, tabs, laptops, internet, friends, partying, and trendy dresses.
National issues are at the bottom of their priority list. No wonder the
prevailing chaos in the country is ever worsening.
If our country is to be brought out of the shackles of slow rate of
development, scientific and technological impasse, and the mire of corruption,
the youth force is required. It was the self-effacing and dedicated youth force
that led our mother land out of the darkness of political and social slavery
during the reign of colonialism. Unless the youth take responsibility in
raising voice against the rampant ills, they are not going to be overcome.
The youth must shoulder the responsibilities to serve the
motherland best by dedicating themselves to her. They can do so by resolving to
contribute to her development instead of going abroad after their education.
They can be the vanguards in many of the campaigns such as Swach Bharat
Abhiyan, Anti-Corruption Forum, Scientific and Literary Societies. The Indian
youth must realize their responsibilities to the nation and take active part in
her developmental activities. Only then the freedom of this great country be
maintained.
