in this meet each estate had 1 vote each even when the members of the 3 estate were 600 in the parliament and 98 percent in population share and clergy and nobility were only 300 - 300 each and comprised of only 2 percent of the population share ..

this system was not arbitrary and democratic as not every individual but multiple factions had different votes that were not dependent on their population share .. these methods were directly conflicting with the very idea of democracy and no matter if the views of the 98 percent were against the current government the two votes form clergy and nobility would still dominate
