Chola Kings were tolerant towards other religions. Vishnu worship was also there. Chola rulers supported the spread of Vaishnavisim Saint Ramanujar was the contemporary of Chola Kings. Temples acted as centers of learning also. Temples helped the development of painting dance and music.
