The three current challenges/problems faced by Indian agriculture are as follows:
Population:
India has a population of over one billion and it is increasing at fast pace.
With the increase in population, the demand for land has also increased.
Every piece of land has been brought under the plough for cultivation the purpose of cultivation.
Storage of grains:
It is a huge problem and approximately 10 per cent of our harvest goes waste every year.
Small land holdings:
With the increase in population and the practice of dividing land equally among the people has caused problem in Indian agriculture.
