1. Prime Minister Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) is a scheme started in 1993 and the aim of this program is to create self employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth in rural area and small towns and help in setting up small business and industries.

2. Rural Employment generation programme (REGP) is a scheme launched in 1995 and the aim of this program is to create self employment opportunities in rural areas and small towns and target for creating 2500000 new jobs has been set for the program.

3. Pradhan Mantri gramodaya Yojana (PMG Y) is a scheme launched in 2000 .. Under this program additional Central assistant is given to state the for basic services such as Primary Health primary education rural shelter rural drinking water and rural electrification.
