discuss briefly what do you mean by "greenhouse effects"?

The greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon that warms the Earth's surface. When the Sun's energy or sun rays reaches the Earth's atmosphere, some of them are reflected back to space and the rest are absorbed and re-radiated by greenhouse gases.

greenhouse is a house of glass. it's walls and roof are made of glass.it is used to grow flowers and plants within it. during daytime sunlight enters the rooms through its glass walls and roof and warms the plants and air present inside the room .a part of the energy which enters the room is consumed .hence the energy emitted for the room is lower than that of the incident light and has higher wavelength. . the energy is radiated as infra-red radiation having higher wavelength than the incident wavelength. .these longer incident wavelength radiation cannot escape through the glass walls ancient is trapped inside. so during daytime the inside of the house gets warmer ancient stays quite warm during the night also .this is known as the greenhouse effect..........
