Answer:

Explanation:

Firstly the classification was made by Aristotle. He classified plants as hurbs, shrubs, and trees and animal on the basis of presence or absence of RBCs in them.but his classification failed to classify all the organism.

Then secondly Linneaus gave two system of classification which consists of kingdom Plantae and kingdom Animalia but this system was unable to differentiate between multicellular and unicellular organisms and prokaryotes and eukaryotes .

So Earnest Heckel seperated unicellular eukaryotes into seperate kingdom name Protista and gave three kingdom classification. After that Copeland seperated all prokaryotes into seperate kingdom name Monera and hence four kingdom system of classification came.

And lastly R.H Whittaker proposed five kingdom system of classification in 1969. and decomposer in seperate kingdom name Fungi.

So five kingdoms are now:

1)Monera

2)Protista

3)Fungi

4)Plantae

5)Animalia
