When historian study about any historical event they use the tool related to that event, historian classify these tools into two different categories such as:

  1. Primary source
  2. Secondary source

Primary source: is the first source of information which was explained by the primary source or the one who presents at the time of any historical event has happened for example weapons, tools, document, and pottery.

Secondary source: is the second source of the information of any historical event which was created by the people who are not eye-witnessed that event and interpret it according to primary source information for example magazines, books, and charts.
