The main theme of the story is: '' Where there's a will, there's a way. Journey by night is a story depicting the extraordinary power of human will. If we have the determination to do something, we can always find a way to do it. The story shows the courageous journey of the boy, Sher singh, through the forest at night. The cobra on the way, the group of elephants,prints of tiger and bear did not stop him and more then that the flooded rivers could not stop the determined boy and finally he succeeds in reaching hospital by covering a distance of 50 miles...therefore we can say that journey by night is a tale of triumph of human courage
