A pipe is made to flow water from the roof of houses when it is raining, the water goes to the depth of the ground where it meet several filter and all the dust and silt In the water is removed.... this clean water in collected in a tank underground when this tank overflows.... the water makes the soil around it wet and this helps to raise the water table.....

many indians also constructs tanks for rainwater collecting.this water stored is used for many purposes.
