The period of Abbasids was started in 750 A.D after the fall of Ummayads. Abu al Abbas alsafah was the first abbasi caliph. The period of Haroon Rasheed and Mamoon Rasheed was considered the golden period of Abbasids. In this period Abbasi caliphate contributed a lot for education, science, literature and fine arts.
