Maneka Gandhi was issued a travel permit on 01-06-1976 and inside seven days the same was seized.
When she asked for the Passport officer to outfit reasons a letter was sent by the Ministry of outside issues saying that it was chosen not to give her the reasons 'out in the open intrigue'.
