weber defined domination( authority) as the chance of commands being obeyed by a specifiable group of people. Legimate authority is that which is recognised as legitimate and justified by both the ruler and the ruled.

Max Weber was a German philosopher and socialist who was highly influential in the ideas of authority.
According to Weber, authority or dominance basically depends upon people who are going to follow the orders given to them.
Orders will only be followed the the authority of the person is a legit one.
There are three types of authority - charismatic, legal and traditional.
