The Parliament of India is the combination of Lok Sabha ie the lower house/house of the people and Rajya Sabha i.e. Upper house/house of the representative.The members of both the houses are known as MP. ... The members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the MLAS hence known as the representative. They are elected for 6 years.

State Legislative assembly is for state level and chosen by local constituency which refer to elect MLA(member of legislative assembly)
Parliament is house of ministers who are picked up from Vidhan sabha to Lok sabha to represent at country level by winning party are called MP(minister of parliament).
