deforestation is the cutting of trees. Its effect are:
On wild animals:
1) many animals living in the forest lose their homes.
2)the animals and birds become extinct due to the lack of their habitat.
On the environment and the earth:
1)trees are one of the reasons for rain. If trees are cut, then , rains would decrease comparatively.
2)Soil erosion would increase because trees hold the soil and the soil would be easily eroded in the absence of trees.
On villages and cities:
1) deforestation hampers agricultural activities and disturbs the people living in the rural areas.
2)it might cause floods and droughts in the areas.
