There is no doubt that land ceiling aims at equal distribution of land among people and avoiding centralizing of means and resources. The elders in our vicinity have different views. Mostly the rich farmers who have owned huge land from earlier time feel negatively about land ceiling. It's human nature and possessiveness that makes them feel so.
On the other hand the poor farmers and workers without land feel it is a boon for them and see it as a reforming step that can eliminate the rift between have's and have not's. They see in this policy as an instrument to improve their lot.
