Salt is one of the few useful and abundant minerals on earth. ... White salt is produced by evaporating 'solution-mined' brine in pressure vessels. The rock salt we use for gritting roads comes from mining ancient deposits. In some countries the natural energy of the sun is used to evaporate brine produced from sea water.

formula of common salt is
NaCl

hope it helps^^

isha321: Salt, such as sodium chloride, is formed when an acid and a base are neutralized in a chemical reaction. In nature, sodium chloride, commonly known as table salt, is found when sea water evaporates. Additionally, this salt can be mined from the Earth
isha321: ok now?
isha321: Welcome by the way
Anonymous: yes! now it is ok..

Heya☺

Here is your answer☺

Salt dissolved in water is a result of neutralization reaction in which a acid and a base is added in equal amounts..... It is an exothermic reaction as heat is involved.....Then it's extracted by the process of evaporation ( a process in which liquid changes to solid ) ...

The salt is typically obtained from salty water....such as sea water....As it contains dissolved Na+ and Cl- ions.....

The formula of common salt is NaCl ( sodium chloride ) which is a mixture of sodium and chloride....

#hope it helps☺

Anonymous: in the last line it should be sodium and chlorine not chloride i guess
Anonymous: Thanks!
aishowrya: by mistake
Anonymous: edit it
aishowrya: its chloride dear
