Discuss the feature of indian economy before the advent of british rule

the main feature of Indian economy during British rule was the rule of kings everywhere and the exploitation of untouchables,dalits,downtrodden etc.there was a lot of superstitions followed by people at that time.only richer/higher class enjoyed higher rights.the poor were neglected in their own lands.
