As we know that an infant does not know about anything. His mind is blank paper on which their parents write things. It means parents teach them each and everything from the start till the end.

From the starting, they give them knowledge about their customs, their relationships, their standards. A child while growing must keep that thing with him. Whenever he forgets a little thing about which he is already taught immediately they make sure that he would not make that mistake again.

Similarly! When he fully grown up, he make his children to keep those things in mind.

In this way, certain ideas or knowledge passed on from one generation to the next.
