This is a very true statement. Appearances are deceptive. We cannot judge anyone just by seeing their appearance. This is evident in the chapter 'Two gentlemen of Verona'. The two boys Nicola and Jacopo, during their first meet with the author, were very shabbily dressed and had messy hair which made them look like they could be thiefs or what not. But in actual they were very kind and helpful and were of a great help to the author and his friends.They were gentlemen in such a small age.The author also showed his qualities of a gentleman by not judging them just by their appearance.
