Answer:

The Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, was enacted to protect the marginalised socio-economic class of citizens and balance the right to environment with their right to life and livelihood.

Ur answer is here...

Forest are very useful for tribals as tribal people are totally depend on forests, they get food from forest, wood, fuel etc. some tribal people also do agriculture in forest by cutting the trees and burn them, after that they put the ash on the soil and grow crops like potatoes.

At the lowest stratum of the peasantry tribals subsisted as agricultural labourers, coolies in plantations, mines and factories and through shifting cultivation. The colonial state tightened control over forest zones for revenue and banned shifting cultivation in the reserved forests.

For about 100 million of them, forests are main source for livelihood and cash income from fuelwood, non-timber forest products (NTFP) or construction materials. More than half of India's 70 million tribal people, the most disadvantaged section of society, subsist from forests.

Hope it helped u...✌️✌️✌️✌️
