The immediate cause was that rumours spread that king had ordered a group of brigands or soldiers to loot and shoot upon the innocent people people were very impatient because they had suffered lot with the king Louis16 since he levied high taxes on the 3rd class which consist of poor and they didn't have enough food and couldn't keep pace with the population so the citizens with no choice joined together at the city of Paris and striked the start of revolution
