Milton is viewed as one of the best writers in English writing. He is second just to Shakespeare. He was born in London and taught at Christ's College, Cambridge.

At the young age, Milton was exceptionally appealing, as at the College he was known as the Lady of Christ's. Milton examined Greek, Latin, English, French and Italian writers. His peaceful shorter poem The Happy Man portrays his investigation amid the day and his visits to a church in the nighttimes of the autumn season.

Milton's prose work has a place with his second group of his work. They are for the most part worried about church issues, separation, and freedom. His best prose work is presumably The Areopagitica, A speech for the Liberty of Unlicensed Printing. In this work, Milton is arguing for the flexibility of articulation.
