The Le Chatelier's principle is important as it helps chemists find out the conditions that favour forward reaction or to ensure that chemical reactions are productive and take place completely. For example, if the reaction proceeds with a decrease in total volume, then a higher pressure and a lower temperature would favour the forward reaction. The effect of concentration of reactants, temperature , pressure and other conditions on the direction of the reactions has been demonstrated using the Le Chatelier's principle.
