Earth's interior is made up of a series of layers that sit below the surface crust. In order of depth, these layers include the solid, but flowing mantle, the liquid outer core and the solid iron outer core, which helps create Earth'sprotective magnetic field.

The earth is divided into three main layers:
· Inner core and outer core (core)
· Mantle
· Crust

1) Core:

The total radius of core is about 2100 miles. It has temperature upto 7200°C.

2) Mantle:

It is situated under the crust or surface of the earth and is divided into two parts:
-Upper Mantle
-Lower Mantle

3) Crust/surface of the earth:

Mainly it is composed of silicon, aluminium calcium, sodium etc.
The crust is thinner under the oceans (6-11 km)
where is continental crust are thick (25-90 km).
