Answer:

Explanation:

First off even the definition of Liberal answers this question. Here it is. lib·er·al

ˈlib(ə)rəl/

adjective

1.open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values."they have more liberal views toward marriage and divorce than some people"

2.(of education) concerned mainly with broadening a person's general knowledge and experience, rather than with technical or professional training.synonyms:wide-ranging, broad-based, general"a liberal education"

Simply put a liberal is more open to change, development, advancement, etc than a conservative person would be. Most liberals in this country, the USA, are as such. They want to advance man kind, not step back to the 1950s. They want health care for all not just those who can pay for it. They want peace in the world, not forcing others to their way of thinking. Thus Liberals by nature are for development, provided it does not destroy the nature around that development. That is to say, not destroy the water we need to live, the air we need to breath, and the animals who were here first and need nature to survive.
