The Revolution of October 1917:

This was a well recognised event in the Russian Revolution because Lenin was fearing that, provisional government will establish its dictatorship. So, let's know about the Revolution in points:

  • The number of conflicts between the Boisheviks and Provisonal government grew.

  • So, Lenin was fearing because of the takeover of Provisonal government and hence he influenced 'Soviet' and the 'Boisheviks' against the Provisional government.

  • As a result, the Military Revolutionary committee was appointed under the leadership of Leon Trotsky.

  • This one is quite imp. Prime minister Kerensky left the city and the military men seized 2 newspaper buildings of Boisheviks.

  • The troops of soilders were sent to protect the Winter palace. But the military men seized the offices and arrested ministers. And the city was under the control of Military.

  • The fighting also took place in other cities like in Moscow (Present National capital of Russia). It was also under the Bolsheviks.

  • And, Finally Lenin become the leader after the October Revolution.

After this October Revolution, Bolsheviks party renamed itself as Russian Communist party. They opposed the private property and share of property in the hands of prosperous people. Industries & banks were nationalised etc. changes took place after the October Revolution.
