THE MAJOR REASONS OF POVERTY IN INDIA ARE:-

° HIGH GROWTH IN POPULATION:-

THE POPULATION OF INDIA HAS INCREASED RAPIDLY IN INDIA WHICH IS CONSIDERED AS THE MAIN REASON FOR THE POVERTY.

° LOW PRODUCTIVITY:-

SINCE THERE WAS THE GROWTH IN POPULATION BUT STILL PRODUCTION WAS NOT UP TO THE MARK THAT IT COULD MEET WITH THE PEOPLES DEMAND.

° UNEMPLOYMENT:-

AS THE NUMBER OF JOB SEEKERS INCREASED THOUGH THERE WAS NOT SUFFICIENT JOBS TO PROVIDE EACH AND EVERYONE.
